Additionally, under By-law 77-200-5(14), motorists are reminded that effective Wednesday, November 1 parking of vehicles on city streets is not permitted during the winter months between midnight and 6 a.m. Vehicles that remain parked on the street during an overnight parking restriction will receive a $15 fine and may have their vehicle towed at the owner's expense. The By-law remains in effect from November 1, 2017 through to midnight April 30, 2018 even when there is no snow. Weather predictions may be incorrect and when snow occurs officers from the Sault Ste.
